I am working with a single mother who recently had her first baby. The baby takes a special formula that is not offered through WIC and the parent has to pay cash for the formula. The baby needs the more specialized formula because the formula through WIC upsets her stomach terribly and she spits all of it up, doesn’t sleep, is in extreme discomfort, etc.
Mom works full time and will be returning to work soon, but has a job that does not pay a lot, yet she can’t get much support in other places because she does have a job. She feels that some support with formula, diapers, and wipes would help with some financial relief.

While all children grow at their own pace, some children experience delays in development. Special health conditions may also affect development. Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers information, support and referral services to help at no cost to families. ECSE programs provide supports and services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children with a delay or disability and their families.
