These two young brothers — two bright, energetic brothers who have been through more in their short lives than most of us can imagine – are now in foster care, they’re finally in a safe, loving home where they can start to heal and dream about the future.

We’d like to provide these two young boys with culturally appropriate hair care products so they feel seen and valued in every detail of their life while they are with this new foster family. They will be with this family for at least 3 months.

As young boys, hair is a big part of who they are – we want them to feel confident and proud of their identity. Yet, they don’t have the essential products they need to care for their hair properly — things like curl cream, detangler, and a wide tooth comb.

Without these basics, their hair becomes dry and tangled, leading to discomfort, frustration, and a sense of being “different” or overlooked. With these simple items, these boys can look in the mirror and see strength, beauty, and hope.

We’d also love to supply them with a few basic essentials – socks and pajamas.
