This need is for a family with four children (total of 6 people). Two of the children have special needs. A waiver for one of their children did not go through on time, so the family did not receive the funds they needed to make rent and cover their basic needs (diapers, household supplies). Having household supplies covered would help the family be able to use their limited funds to cover rent and other necessities for the family. This is a short-term ask as one of the parents recently got a job and the waiver will come through.

While all children grow at their own pace, some children experience delays in development. Special health conditions may also affect development. Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers information, support and referral services to help at no cost to families. ECSE programs provide supports and services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children with a delay or disability and their families.
